You know those days when you're trying to fix the bottle like a one handed wizard, and you've got your crying kid on your hip, and by the time you're leaving the kitchen to go feed them and get them down, you notice they're already eating the dirty dish scrubber you got from your bridal shower that looks like a naked man?

Or those days you're FINALLY going to get to eat before 3 in the afternoon, and grab the last piece of lemon poppyseed bread and your kid knocks it out of your hand and it goes crumbling down the stairs?

Or you find that piece of cantaloupe that went flying through the air that morning, when you step on it and it mushes under your foot?

Or when you actually fix your hair in the rare two seconds you find you can, and your baby grabs it in a death grip and rips it out in an attempt to eat it?

Or when you decide to not fix your hair because of the situation mentioned above, and after your kid smacks her Banana covered hands on either side of your face and leans in, mouth open, and eats your forehead and slides that open mouth up and over your head.. you think, "Great. Natural hair gel"

Or the day you notice that new mole on your leg and start to panick just a little aaand then it rubs off when you wipe some spit on it, and you realize you've been walking around with some au natural banana body lotion on all afternoon?

Or that day you set the remote down in pee...

Or the day you decide maybe you'll eat something at the same time as your baby and she smacks your food right out out of your hand. And you soon find yourself feeding your baby with one arm and pulling inspector gadget with your other arm. And while your armpit's pressing against the side of the rocker you think to yourself "really? Am I really gonna eat that off the floor?" And decide it's probably a good thing you couldn't reach it?
Yeah. Me too.

Some days just seem to drag on, and I begin to feel a little like a crazy lady from talking to a baby all day. Some times the days seem longer than others and by 6:00 my patience turns in early, and leaves me standing alone. But if we look, we will find that there is something good in every day. And today, it was a naked baby in the sink.

Yesterday was such a beautiful day, that we spent a good portion of it outside, when we got home from church.

Really the weather has been nice all week, and we are not complainin'

This girl loves being outside! It's a good thing we live in California!

Tees got her first invitation to a sweet little girls birthday party last week. We showed up on time and lookin fancy, only to find out we were a day early. So we made our own party, and took a "we showed up a little too early" selfie, haha.

Grandma Bob got us a crib before T was ever here! And Kramer finally got it put together. And let me tell you, I'm in love with it! And judging by the look of Miss Ts face in this picture, she loves it too!

She outgrew her sleeper a while ago and moved back in with us. And while we'll miss our extra snuggle time, I don't think Mike will miss the head in his armpit or the tiny hand scratching his face, so much.
This pack and play is so nice though! And she loves it! She takes all her naps in this thing, and it saves me a couple extra trips up our stairs.. You can judge me, it's okay.

Also, Teesy started sitting up on her own, and learned how to read.

When Dad offers to watch her, This is what he actually means, hahaha

She also started eating real food and loves it. I've been giving her tastes of whatever we're eating for a couple of weeks now, but we've pumped it up more recently. I stuck fruit in this mesh teether to help soothe her gums, and it was a success.

We have been out of town for almost three weeks now. This cute girl has changed a lot since we left! Mike's not even going to recognize her.  I hate that she's growing so quickly!

She's got her grandparents wrapped around her finger.

Happy Easter!

It took a little while for her to warm up to grammy's bath, but she sure likes it now! And is trying to sit up in it? Make her stop growing!

Chillin' with Gramps.

If she sees a remote she will stare at it forever. Her grandpa was calling her Murph because we watched interstellar and afterward Tennesy was staring at the numbers on the remote.

Trying a piece of Grandmas homemade bread.. And loving it!

We got to see Uncle Bryndon and Auntie April!! Tennesy had only met them once, so we were so excited to see them. And Tennesy LOVED them!! They're pretty much our favorites. We can't wait for baby Sailor to get here! We've already decided that they're going to be best friends.

This girl does the funniest things. Like this! Still sucking her thumb while she drinks from her bottle. She also sticks her fingers in her binkie while she's sucking on it.

Tennesy is still doing her grumpy face and I love it! She know longer makes her funny sound when she does it, but it still kills us. Especially when she smiles at the same time!!!

Another shot of her grump face

Tennesy loves her grandpa and I think he might like her a little too...

Some of Tennesy's cousins visited grandma's while we were there, and we had a whole week of fun!

We went to Utah and spent the day visiting family. We got to have a yummy Sunday dinner at "Grandma Bobs" and I'm pretty sure Mike was jealous that we spent the day seeing his family, and he wasn't there.

Catching up with Everett and Adelyn

A year ago my hair fell to the middle of my back. By last July it had grown long to my hips, but pregnancy hormones got the best of me and I chopped it off. I've been trying to grow it out again and last week I went in for a trim. She decided to take off at least two inches instead and now I'm starting over again 😝 Luckily this hot guy here in the picture, loves me always. 💇🙎💁#whydotheyalwayscutoffsomuch? #curseyouhairdresser #littleponytailfordays

Right before I cut it. Five months pregnant with baby girl and laughing because my vest wouldn't zip up anymore.
